Dear Mr. Coates:

Again, I say to you and your organization thank you. I am so proud to know each and every one of the men in your organizations. I can not say it enough that sisters need to see our brothers lead. I have never been disappointed by your company of some of the finest brothers in this region. So much so that I am committed to sharing that sentiment to as many sisters as I can reach so that your events are even larger and the support becomes evident to the State of Maryland and then the world. Gentlemen, keep up the good work and I pray for each of you. All of you are fine Black Brothers that demonstrate the best of us and I am proud to be among you. I have to say that I simply feel safe and protected around you as I am taught a women should feel. And never mind that I am not affiliated through family or any particular ties to your organization. Just a sister who believes in your achievements and accomplishments and wants to support where ever she can. I love you all in Jesus name. If I can ever be of any assistance to your organization and it is within my power to promote you, please do not hesitate to contact me; no matter what organization I am affiliated with.

Peace and blessings dearingly,
Denise Sherron Brown

Dear Teddy Coates and Black Professional Men;

We at A Step Forward Recovery Program would like to
take a moment to send you a word of thanks! Saturday,
January 18th, 2003 was great. The men and women of A
Step Forward enjoyed the job readiness workshop that
you offered. They were not only impressed by the
knowledge on the subject matter that Mr. Dixon, Mr.
Reed and yourself possessed, but was very appreciative
that you all cared enough to take time out to share
that knowledge with them.

On Monday, January 20, 2003, the men and women were
tested on the information learned at the workshop. I
am proud to say that the scores were high! They are
excited about this upcoming Saturday and are
diligently working to upgrade those resumes.

Again, thank you for helping us at A Step Forward,
"rebuild life, one piece at a time."

Sincerely,

Lela Blue-Campbell
CEO

Dear Mr. Coates:

On behalf of the students and staff at the Maryland Center for Arts and Technology, Inc. I want to formally thank you and other members of Black Professional Men for your
continued commitment and partnership with us in mentoring our students in the Computer Integrated Manufacturing Program. We have seen significant improvement in the standards the students have set for themselves and the professionalism this brings to their internship experiences.

I want to personally thank you and Mr. Scott Phillips for sponsoring two students to attend the Wizard’s game and providing transportation and dinner as well. The students
thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it provided an opportunity to attend a sports event and socialize with mentors from Black Professional Men.

In addition, I want to thank you and Mr. Edwin Avent for participating as the Master of Ceremonies and Guest Speaker in the Computer Integrated Manufacturing Graduation for Class VII. It truly added a personal element to the graduation and left the students and staff with inspiration to continue reaching for our dreams.

I look forward to a partnership that will continue to bring fulfillment, challenge, and hope to young black men in Baltimore.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Kaylor
